Dr. Aleida Heinz is originally from Caracas, Venezuela, now living & working in the USA. Dr. Heinz has a private practice in Charlotte, North Carolina. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (IASHS) in San Francisco, CA, a Master’s degree in Sexology and Couple Clinical Counseling from the Center for Psychiatric, Psychological and Sexology Research (CIPPSV), and a BS in Family Science & Psychology from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. She is a Board Certified Sexologist by the American College of Sexologists (ACS) and Certified Sex Counselor by The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT).

Also, she studied Analytical Psychology in the Jungian Institute of Analytical Psychology, has an advanced training in Rational-Emotive-Behavior Therapy (REBT) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, hypnotherapy, and a Master Sex Coach Trainer for Sex Coach U, USA.

Dr. Heinz began her career as a Couple Counselor in 1998, years later she became a Sexologist. For many years Dr. Heinz has been invited to numerous radio and television shows as well as to international conferences. She was one of the co-host in the TV show “The Specialist” in Charlotte, NC. Nowadays, she writes articles and columns for newspapers and magazines regarding healthy relationships & sexuality and she is working in her new book “Seven Sex Secrets” to be published soon.

Dr. Heinz has about 18 years counseling individuals & couples. She has a private practice in Charlotte, NC. She is also married and has 2 sons and 1 daughter.
